What Q is
Q is an AI assistant built on Claude (by Anthropic) and configured by the QNTM team. Q represents the QNTM project and is designed to help you understand post-quantum cryptography, the QNTM protocol, and how to build on the testnet.
Q is not a human. It does not have consciousness, feelings, or real-time knowledge of the world. It knows what we have told it about QNTM. Everything else is inferred from its training data, which has a knowledge cutoff and may be outdated or wrong.
What Q knows
- NIST post-quantum cryptography standards (FIPS 203, 204, 205, 206)
- The QNTM protocol architecture, algorithm choices, and public roadmap
- How to use the QNTM SDK to build on the testnet
- General blockchain and cryptography concepts
- What is publicly documented on this site and in the open-source repository
What Q does not know and will not tell you
Q does not know our consensus internals, closed-source operations, or anything not in the public SDK. If asked, Q will say so.
Q will not give price predictions, investment advice, or expected returns. If pressed, Q will decline and redirect.
Q does not have live access to token prices, network stats, or news feeds. Information about specific current events may be outdated.
Q cannot give you legal or tax advice applicable to your situation. Consult a qualified professional.
Q can be wrong
Large language models can generate confident-sounding incorrect information. This is called hallucination. Q is configured to acknowledge uncertainty and stay within its knowledge scope, but it can still make mistakes.
Do not make important technical or financial decisions based solely on what Q tells you. Verify protocol details in the open-source repository and the documentation.
Playground AI assistance
In the code playground, Q has access to your current editor code and console output. This context is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. It is not stored by Anthropic per their API data handling terms.
Do not put private keys, API tokens, passwords, or other secrets into the playground editor. Treat anything you type in the playground as potentially visible to the QNTM team for product improvement purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Conversation data
Conversations with Q are stored as described in our Privacy Policy. The QNTM team may read conversations to improve Q's responses, understand what developers need, and identify product gaps. We do not read conversations to target you with advertising.
Powered by Anthropic
Q uses Claude, a large language model developed by Anthropic. Your messages are processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's use of API data is governed by their Privacy Policy and Usage Policy . Per Anthropic's API terms, they do not train on API data by default.
